Required by Law for us - Does the job

At my job, the fire chief requested that our curtains be treated with this product. When I presented him with a couple of options, he pointed out that this one was better than the two. Easy to use. Now we don't have to worry anymore. Didn't get dirty, didn't smell. We used it as velvet material

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Flawed

It really works. I sprayed a few samples before walking.

Really works. I sprayed a few samples before deciding to use them on curtains to hang in the church hall. I can bring a lighter to the sample and nothing happens. Not so with the raw sample. The treated tissue does not become stiff and rubbery, but remains soft and supple.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some defects

That does not work! Best in First Aid Kits

After reading the reviews I had high hopes for this product. BUT if you are reading this, do NOT repeat my mistake. This product doesn't work. I applied the product as directed (which was fairly easy) and the fabric STILL caught fire when tested. Luckily I was smart enough to try it before actually using it. I would give 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Hard wearing surface
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Produces a sulfur smell

I used this on a small 3x5 foot rug that sits in front of my fireplace. The carpet was new from Lowes. When I sprayed it on the carpet it smelled like sulfur strong enough to cover the whole house. I put the carpet in the garage because of the smell. After the smell hadn't dissipated for a couple of days I left the rug in direct sunlight for two days hoping it would speed up the process and it worked. Most of the degassing was completed in two days and I was able to put the carpet back inside…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Very expensive

If you have pets, not recommended!

The product had a noticeable odor when applied. We both noticed dry mouth and sore throat within an hour of being in the same room with previously treated clothing. Anything you've treated and can touch afterwards leaves your hands sticky and just plain gross. During the whole process I had to wash my hands 5 times because I couldn't stand the feeling or was scared of petting one of our animals and getting it dirty! From the moment our dog got to the items that were already dried, he couldn't…

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Repair
