This is a solid product, literally feels heavy in the hand and is way better than many other options on the market. I'm writing this review to explain the 1.5 inch wide issue that many have complained about. At first I had the same problem as others: it was too big to fit the hole in the tub. I ordered another product from Amazon, but from a different manufacturer and 1.5" in diameter: same problem, it was too big. In short, it turned out that there was a plastic sleeve left in the hole that was part of the old drain. When I removed this bushing - I used a special wrench but it could also be cut with some force - the hole diameter was perfect for the product. a sleeve similar to the one I had to take off. The previous owner used this stock. The rest of the project went smoothly and it looks great! I will try to upload some photos to explain it a little better. I think the seller of this product can explain such things better on this board, hence the 4 stars.
