The block arrived this morning. Well packaged (soldered in the box) and shipped quickly. This device came from Stallion Tek. The exterior was clean with some minor scratches but was generally as described as refurbished. Removed the side panel and looked under the hood. It has four 4GB RAM modules instead of the two 8GB RAM modules some have received. I noticed that another reviewer had an issue with a wire getting stuck in the fan blade that supplies power to the PSU. In this case, there were two wires (sounds like SSD power) directly across from the fan housing, so I loosened the wiring a bit and pulled it off the fan. Apart from this small change, everything looked fine. The device comes with a Displayport to VGA adapter. I wanted HDMI and ordered an adapter so no big deal. Included was a power cord, keyboard, and Wi-Fi dongle, but no mouse. Not a big deal since I wasn't going to use them anyway. It also didn't come with the Windows 10 CD that was part of the package (I'll continue with Stallion Tek). Install and run the Logitech Wireless Keyboard Key in the USB port. It started immediately and installation was pretty easy. It's a fast car! It helps a bit since this one comes with an I7 4790 processor (bonus)! I am completely satisfied with the device right away. I have several refurbished Optiplex computers for our business and for the price you can't beat them. They're not sexy, but they're well built and last forever. I hope to have the same experience with this one.
