I use Zigbee and Z-Wave lights in my main house and country house. I added Zigbee bulbs after our first power outage at our vacation spot to solve the problem of Z-Wave bulbs becoming unresponsive after a power outage and requiring a physical reset. Unfortunately, Zigbee does the same. When power is restored after a power outage, the lights turn on and do not respond to commands from the Alexa control panel, Smartthings, or Livewatch IQ. The lights stay on until reset. It's not a big problem once you're local. But in the case of our vacation spot, we're 3,000 miles away and controlling the lights and cameras remotely, so a manual reset isn't possible. To solve this problem I switched to WIFI and Z-Wave sockets. You don't seem to have this problem. I still use these bulbs in fixtures in both houses but I understand the limitations. If you're on site, incandescent bulbs won't pose a problem and are actually a great and inexpensive way to automate lighting fixtures (like ceiling lights, etc.) without having to change hardware. I'm hesitant to recommend them for remote home automation, especially if your area experiences intermittent power outages. Please don't misunderstand my review because the app is spot on, it's great and very handy and I love being able to turn the lights on and off remotely or with a presence sensor (or geofencing used by your phone). , but there are limitations to these smart bulbs, and there may be better options for your specific application.
