Big for kids, size

Nice hat but big. I ordered a child size, the label said one size and it fit my head perfectly. I am not sure if I was sent the wrong size or if it is actually a child size and only fits plus sizes. I used some vinyl to make a design on the front for my nephew's birthday, it's a bit big for him and the back is at the smallest level for the bars to go, but he's growing up and getting a lot derive benefit from it.
