Connector disconnects and exposes wires

We've only had these cables a few weeks - the first one we've been using in a couple of weeks was disconnected from the micro USB port and exposed wires were showing. Then I took out the second of two packets and within ONE WEEK the same thing happened. We have tried using tape on both but I am very disappointed with this product and how easily they break.
