The amount of charcoal in a bag is tiny and I knew about it from other comments before I bought it and didn't find it a problem because I could easily stack many bags. But now that I've received it, I understand why this is actually a problem: I would have to fold so much that the paper content would be very high and: 1. As this is a cheap product from China, there is nothing included to display that this paper is good for health. The water flows mainly through the paper and not through the charcoal. In the end I just threw it away because I don't think the water gets any cleaner with filters than without. PS: The paper looks completely different from the photo. In the photo it looks like some kind of special fiber paper or something potentially useful. It's actually cheap plain paper.
