Review on Haisstronica HS-8327 Ratchet Crimping Tool for Heat Shrink Connectors: AWG 22-10 Wire Terminal Crimper by Daniel Woods

This crimping tool looks good, feels solid and inspires confidence. Unfortunately, it has no crimping function. It flattens the connector and squeezes the wire a bit. It requires very little effort to disconnect. You can probably agree with this result with a very low force (small diameter) connection, but I would be afraid to use a higher current connection. Also, if the wire vibrates or moves, it will break the connection fairly quickly. Pull it a little and the wire will come out. I tried adjusting the ratchet with the screw provided, but the effect was still unacceptable. I would have sent it back immediately but I missed my 30 day window. Do not buy this brand. Maybe other brands are better but this one is terrible. Absolutely useless.
