I was glad I found this poncho cape cardigan and even got quick and friendly responses from the seller before making the purchase. Then I ordered navy blue/grey. On arrival the fabric looked nice and was soft. I especially liked that it didn't scratch my hands. I'm sure almost everyone will agree that it's a good idea to dry clean or wash each piece of clothing before you wear it, and when I gave the poncho a thorough cleaning exactly as directed, I was sad to see that it was very thin was Stitching throughout the product showed a low level of abrasion. Looking closely, I realized that this fraying most likely would not have occurred if the covered fringe had been wider and/or slightly heavier. (I used to be a professional seamstress so I know this from experience.) So I decided if I had time I would sew on the edge covering myself or add a border. Then I started wearing ponchos. After wearing it for the first time, I noticed that the item was very wrinkled and looked horrible, for example after I got out of the car. I was quite embarrassed to discover how wrinkled it was. Unfortunately, this is what prompted me to give the tree a star rating. So the fabric is nice, but for me the edges could have been better finished and I really wish it didn't wrinkle so much.
