I really liked this electric pressure cooker BUT after using it about 3 times a week for 3 months it broke down. In particular, it SCREAMS "LID" when the lid is securely closed. Then I giggle at him as he finally stops the nasty squeaking and goes into preheat mode. But no, he doesn't feel it and starts to go crazy again. This even happens on the yogurt and sauté settings when no pressure is required. Yes I checked all the pads, I asked my friends to check it out and finally my husband and everyone agrees the pads seem to be in place. I will switch to another brand. I can't put this item into the goodwill stack in my right mind. It will go in the trash. Yes, I rarely throw away things that can have a second life. Although this terminal. But that's the manufacturer's fault, not necessarily the dealer's.
