After reading reviews b-4 I ordered and thought I might need to reinforce these hangers if they are going to be used for heavier clothing (e.g. clothes that get wet and hung to dry). No need to beef them up for simple stuff. The slide arms only "snap" in 3 different positions, so I drilled "installation holes" and used small zip ties to keep the slide arms where I want them for a few clothes. I am not suggesting anyone do what I have done because I know all the safety precautions when using a drill and you may not know the safety precautions. I used small zip ties to secure the hangers for heavy items. With zippers the hanger doesn't rotate anymore, but I don't need them.
