I have tried many different wet shaving creams and soaps. So far, nothing has delivered a miraculous shave with Geo F. Trumper Coconut Oil Shaving Cream. My default assumption is that you use a decent shaving brush (I prefer the little super badger Vulfix these days), proper beard prep, etc. It lathers and holds great lather with ease, stays nice and moist, and (which is interesting) seems to retain heat better than other soaps . It has a strong coconut flavor, but it's not coconut flavoring, it's coconut oil. which offers a very mild fragrance, unlike some other coconut soaps and shaving creams. The product that has the phrase "coconut oil" in it is the only reason I tried it, hoping it wasn't artificial coconut flavoring added to the shaving cream. No, maybe I'll try GFT Limes. Maybe mix them up and add a lime.
