Works fine, though. Need some love

I'm a full time photographer and have built several systems of various sizes and cases which are great for expanding the capabilities of your hard drive. It works as advertised. USUALLY. This takes up 5 hard drives easily enough and everything works as it should. Problem-free in their replacement and extraction. However, as many have said. You will most likely have to bend the tiny fins over two slots as there are no grooves on the side of the ice pier for them to slide. ITS SMALL CABLE LAYOUT Even if you expand your ports on your board with a PCIe card, you will definitely need longer cables. 24 inches should be enough. Cables, so you should have straight cables. Also, the power connectors are on the opposite side of the board. Bottom line, they need to flip the board over so most of the connectors are next to the side panel, not the front, but if you have a piece of cable underneath, you can still keep it clean with some care and not disturb the fan too much. STRONGLY RECOMMEND connecting the cables to the rear panel BEFORE using it. and then connect the other side to the board after ICY will be in place. FANI bought Noctura to replace the existing one. much quieter. If you don't have 5 hard drives. Also means I can turn on the fan with a jumper. pin on the back of the board. final thoughts it is a hot-swappable cell. I really wish the trays had some sort of quick-attach system instead of screws. However, there is a suspicion that this would be difficult due to the tightness of squeezing 5 disks into space, but it would still be great if this were solved somehow. If you need/want 5 discs. Just be prepared that you need little patient to install this. Once installed, it works great.
