This disc is awesome! I don't use the included software at all, I just use the built in Windows burner to backup files and the free ImgBurn to burn any type of image. Since I've had it, I've burned hundreds of discs, often multiple discs in a row, and still haven't encountered any issues. I've burned 25GB Blu-ray, DVD and CD with no problems. This is a great drive to use for all the computers in my house, especially my current desktop which doesn't have optical drive slots in the case. My only complaint is that it doesn't read UltraHD Blu-ray. It's also a little annoying having two USB ports, and I wish it was USB-C. The requirement for two USB ports doesn't really work for compact laptops, which only have one port, and the second port, used for additional power, doesn't have a cable long enough to easily plug into a USB wall charger .
