Review on Sakkas Paisley Self Design Shawl Stole by Ruchi Wersal

I have several other Sakka pashminas and am a fan of them, but this green/black one is probably my least favorite. In the picture it looks more olive than it really is, while in reality it's more of a colored circle, a bright emerald green that doesn't suit me at all and doesn't contrast well with black. , and Paisley aggravates the situation. It's like your quirky, world-traveling grandma is obsessed with the Matrix movies. I can't imagine anyone wearing this and taking it off. It's pretty ugly and it makes me sad but my cat loves it. I'll probably throw it on my couch because it looks and feels soft, to say the least. The only problem I have with Sakka pashminas is the big ugly fabric sticker they put on one corner of the pashmina. It looks like a sewn-on label, but it's attached with some kind of industrial-grade adhesive that's not meant for fabric. I tried removing it from one of my other pashminas but because the material is so loose I stopped because I thought if I continued I would ruin the fabric. Then dust got under it and it looked disgusting. I had to remove the dust with a cotton swab and tape it back. Therefore, you may need to style the pashmina so that the tag is not showing, which is more difficult if you plan to wear it as a cape, snood, or something else. As a side note, this is definitely not wool and silk. . It's poly and viscose or something. It's a good garment for the price it offers, but you won't get real pashmina at this price point unless you go to India and bargain (or blackmail) with a dealer.
