Where to start. The packaging was a box in an Amazon box. The Amazon box looked prestigious, the box inside was beaten to hell. I opened it and it's very dusty but oh well. I can handle dust. Proceed with the manufacturing process. Directions open. They are in Chinese, not English. Good. I have experience in building things, I can do it with pictures. Luckily the photos are very detailed, you just have to look carefully and figure out which screws to use etc. I was pleasantly surprised that all the pilot holes lined up perfectly. What surprised me that I didn't really like was the quality. Honestly, this is Walmart quality. like the quality of these $20-$30 6 shelf bookshelves. The seller states that you should use anchors when children are around as they are not strong enough. you all. The thing falls over if it is not leaned against the wall. It's not strong enough for anyone, child or adult. You definitely need to back it up. I originally intended to place two as I wanted one on each side of the bench as a reading nook. and oh my god i'm glad i only have one and i decided to see how it was. To top it off, a few parts are damaged and I didn't realize it until I was halfway through the build. I want to return it but the idea is to take the thing apart. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also, I don't know if it even withstands being unscrewed.
