Great Idea! Not sure it's Windows 7 and USB 2.0 Friendly Though.

Tried running this on an old leftover computer that had Windows 7 and USB 2 slots and at first it would work albeit intermittently and needed some fiddling and rebooting and what not, but soon it just quit responding and ended up burning out the USB slot on the board.It might be a bad unit, or it might have some compatibility issues. Can't say one way or another

Saves time and effort when connecting and disconnecting devices

Cons

Limited connectivity range which results in the need to remain in close proximity for efficient connections
