It's amazing... at first. They lasted about 6 months. However, the batteries need to be changed constantly and each uses 6 batteries. You will probably need to change them every 2 months. Now the one I had salt in has completely stopped working. I took it apart completely and cleaned all the salt from all the cracks in it and it still doesn't work. I think if you want automatic shakers you should spend the extra money on rechargeable rather than battery powered ones. I think the salt residue inside somehow caused them to stop working. It's really sad that they don't work anymore because they are amazing when they work.
