good filter Installation can be difficult depending on your settings.

First, I have to agree with all the reviewers who said the manual that came with it was terrible. It's awful, with little explanation and images that are confusing and difficult to see due to the poor print quality. However, I was able to install this filter. I have no plumbing experience as a housewife with young children. Thanks to g**gle and yo*tu*e I found useful tutorials. My setup required me to remove the current water line, which was quarter inch PVC pipe or something, and replace it with braided hose. Then attach the filter's plastic connector to the water supply hose using a suitable 3/8 adapter. Luckily 3/8 pieces were included so I only went to Big Orange once for a plumbing hose. Be sure to use the white rubber grommet in the bottom 3/8 jack, otherwise water will splash when you turn it on. I missed it in the instructions. The filter works great. There are no leaks that I would have worried about. I agree that the water pressure from the spout is lower than the faucet, but I think that's normal. We have a well so I'm not sure how it will work with city water. Overall I am happy with this filter.
