Review on 🔒 PRIME-LINE U 9947 Brass Drawer & Cabinet Lock, 7/8 in. OD, Diecast with Plated Finish by Samuel Lewis

This item works well but greatly reduces the quality of my vintage wooden table. Second hand I came across an antique/antique solid wood teacher's desk. The table was in excellent condition but the key to the middle drawer lock was missing. This castle stood right on the site of the old castle and worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the "neon" golden copper look of the lock stunned me. Instead, I took the old lock to a locksmith and he was actually able to "print" a new key for it with multiple copies for less than $20. To me, the extra effort involved in restoring the original lock compared to the insanely economical cost of this particular item was worth it because, in truth, it just seemed so distasteful to me. I don't consider myself an aesthetically oriented person, but this particular table lock is actually gross and I'm just sick of looking at it.
