This is a great set for small to medium sized gatherings. The plates are thick and should hold a lot of food. Also, since the plates are thick, my guests didn't have to throw them away for second helpings as the plates were left in perfect condition. The design is very elegant and looks a lot better than the regular paper plates you use for grilling. Definitely for those special occasions when you've put up balloons and a wall and paper plates ruin the theme. On the other hand, they complete the look perfectly! The only thing I didn't like was that the dishes weren't as strong as I had hoped. For the price of acceptance, they should at least bend or bend slightly under exertion, instead they simply snap in half. I understand they're plastic, but they've broken so many times I just picked out metal knives and forks. All in all a great set for a party, just wish the utensils were more durable.
