As I started writing this I realized I shouldn't sound stupid so I'll come back to that part later. I bought this topper for my king bed two years ago and not only is it still perfect in every way, it has been tested a lot more than most people can imagine and unfortunately not in the way some dirty heads might think , lol, rather completely different. Of course, I immediately bought a very thin waterproof mattress topper elsewhere to put on; Actually I'm on my 3rd of these now just to be on the safe side. At this point I have to say that this mattress topper has immediately changed my life and most importantly how well I sleep as my mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. If it ever wears out I will definitely buy it again simply because it is tried and tested and unlike any other. I haven't gotten to that yet lol. I recently (just out of curiosity) looked at the My Pillow King-Size Mattress Topper for $499 and wasn't impressed at all, especially at that ridiculous price, but I'll dwell on it long enough to say that (1 ) I hate her straps that are supposedly designed to hold it in place, (2) they'll always get in the way when you're changing the sheets, and (3) the incredibly low, strong, and stretchy skirt the my Sleep Innovations has - never come loose, not even extreme and heavy traffic on my bed. Again not what dirty heads might think lol. No, I run a no-kill dog sanctuary with over 300 dogs. Since it's almost impossible to relocate rescued adult pit bulls since most people consider them bad, unpredictable and potentially vulnerable, I certainly didn't want to put my NINE down so I brought her home. As I'm an elderly single male who doesn't have a partner to yell at me, they all end up on my bed and I always let about 4 of them sleep with me each night. Well, if their tormenting that topper by constantly probing it down and deep in with their very strong legs isn't the perfect and ultimate test of its long-term endurance, then absolutely nothing else can be. Yes, I'm telling you all, after all this and now two years later, this Sleep Innovations mattress topper is as great as day one. I must also say that while I have protected this topper with thin waterproof protectors, I have allowed myself to have the fibrous portion of the topper professionally washed twice and it still looks completely normal and is just as comfortable as when new. . To be honest I just hope this particular sleep innovation is still available if I ever need another. Thank you Sleep Innovations!
