Good but not loud enough

I bought this as a caretaker bell for my grandpa to use on the other side of the house to let our family know if he needs anything and it works most of the time but isn't loud enough to be heard if the washer/dryer is on or the tv or something like that.

Pros

We used it for Christmas. it was on time, as described for a good price!

Cons

The bell may not be able to produce different types of sounds or effects
