I came across an older Gen4 liquid cooler, an Asetek 591LX 360mm CLC, which did not have an AM4 mount and was missing the plastic support ring. The support ring isn't required on Asetek's newer CLCs and AIOs, but the Gen4 can't properly hold the top of the metal bracket with the plastic ring underneath and locked in place. The ring installation is on YouTube and not rocket science. First of all, this is distributed by Asetek themselves, so you can never go wrong with the original manufacturer. Just make sure your cooler was originally made by Asetek, whatever the final "manufacturer" name is (some Fractal Design coolers like my son's Celsius s24; some, but not all, Corsairs; NZXT; TT etc.). Second, the bracket and ring fit with the following notes: a. In my case, the ring is slightly wider and harder to attach with the top (metal) clip than the identical set on my Corsair H105. Some sensible pressure on the ring lugs solves this problem. Again, this is not rocket science or fragility. b. All Gen4 brackets wobble when not in place, even with the ring on. I have a Corsair H105 with the same system. And while the Corsair wobbles outside of the system, it remains stable once all the screws are tightened. Same goes for this kit - I just tested it on my Asetek and it works as expected, wobbled on the outside but worked perfectly when tightened. The result is exactly what I needed and I am happy with the purchase. Well I won't buy it again as it's so durable and lasts ;)
