Be sure to read the label printed on the circuit board. The packaging indicates a SATA case. If you look at the actual PCB, it's clearly marked as an NVME board. Data transfer is fast. Unfortunately, my 2TB Western Digital NVME gets pretty hot in this case. The case has an excellent fit and finish. For a use that is rarely used it should work just fine. The Western Digital Disc is full on both sides. Fits in the body with no problems. I suspect that having a large number of chips generates more heat than is designed for this tiny package. I bought it anticipating thermal issues. I would buy this again.
