The application is garbage and the only way to set up a network. None of the devices are connected to the internet for no reason. Update: Apparently my problem is with IOS, I was able to set up Android.super weak sauce. After setting up the satellite router, we can no longer connect to the main SSID, only to the guest network?!?! Yes, I restarted the modem and both routers. 4 times each. Turn off the satellite router and restart the main router. Now we can connect to the main ssid. Reconnect the satellite router, it can no longer connect to the main SSID. Hm?!? Makes absolutely no sense. Update: If we rename the main ssid after connecting the satellite router, everything works as expected. What a terrible user experience and stupid device. I have to bill Arris for the 5 hours wasted setting it up. Will update again if anything "funny" happens. Last update: The rename workaround took less than 24 hours. We give them back.
