Review on πŸ”Š Black Yamaha NS-555 3-Way Tower Speaker with Bass Reflex (Each) by Adisorn Yang ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality didn't let me down.

What they write about thin walls, electrolytes in filters and coils with a core is not hi-end, if you do everything as it should be, the price will increase by several orders of magnitude, and the sound will be insignificant. But everything is in the hands of the user, the case is beautiful, the speakers are solid, if you also put your hands on your head, experiment (wisely, of course) - they will not be worth the price. As for the uniformity of the frequency range - everything is fine: the bass plays both the midrange and the tweeter. In general, no one has canceled the laws of physics, ANY ! speakers should be adjusted to the room and to a specific place in the room using an equalizer, a new place - new settings - this is an axiom. COLUMNS - GOOD! For the price, you can only dream of something better.

Pros
  • Great look, great design. Good heads with an elastic suspension and a light and durable cone. Sound on 4.
Cons
  • In my opinion, the filters are not quite right. By ear: up to 600 - 1000 Hz the bass speakers play, from 800 - 1500 to 3000 - 4000 the midrange speaker plays, the tweeter plays above. I would move the low/mid range up and the mid/high range up as well. At the top of the reproducible range, the speaker plays cleaner than at the bottom, so it is advisable to avoid the operation of the speakers near the lower limit, this affects the purity and transparency of the sound of any speakers, and these in particular. Point removed, for insufficient transparency of the sound.

Different pros: They are not and cannot be. With its cons. If you see them nearby, run as far away from them as possible, I'll take the ns 555 to the trash tomorrow
