Currently works best in heating, cooling and air quality modes

There are cheap fans and there are cheap fans. This is a cheap fan. Most visible parts are plastic. They aren't precisely machined so you'll have to play around with some of them to make them match. Plastics react to temperature changes and become brittle, so I would expect parts to fall off after a year. It's not particularly pretty, but I bought it as a fan, not as an ornament. If it works for two years, I'll be thrilled.
