I almost never rate anything that highly. I believe that for five stars something has to be exceptional and not as described or free from defects (imaginary or real). I bought this watch to give to my wife for her 40th birthday. We've had wall pendulum clocks for years and love the random noises they make as the clock moves. This Seiko Mantel Chime watch is really good and has become a lovely addition to our home. It's not the wind. They run on batteries (which I wasn't sure about when ordering) and I guess the sound they picked up, but I'd dare to try to tell them apart from our wall clocks. Sounds amazing. I'm so glad we have this watch to celebrate our long time together.
