good when you hold this brush in your hand for the first time you think of something you bought at a dollar store. until you use it. I have very thick, curly, aging red (and gray - oh horror!) hair that almost reaches my waist and resembles alpaca fur. After 58 years in this mess, you'd think I'd learn a thing or two about something, but I can barely sort it with my fingers. This brush is simply AMAZING! The second night I used it (still thinking my spot was on the dollar store shelf) I had to blow dry my hair - an event I usually shy away from as it lasts over 2 hours and makes me feel like one looks like idiots (does anyone remember it?) I did it in 20 minutes and my hair was beautifully smooth and shiny! I have nothing but praise for this brush as my hair dryer is over 20 years old (little used. Remember the Bozo link?) and has no frills. It only blows hot air. So this is my new favorite piece! I can order a few more and put one in my car, one in my bag (though I should warn you - my husband says the size of this brush is reminiscent of some of his BBQ utensils), etc, so I'm never without this! oh, and before I forget, it also glides through my hair when it's dry (straight or curly). Can only recommend this brush! and it's not like I talk about all things hair very often (again, see bozo link)!
