Review on 🔊 Water-Resistant Bluetooth Boombox Speaker | Pyle Industrial Rugged Radio Box, Rechargeable Battery, MP3/USB/SD/AUX-Red by Jason Lockwood

This product has its pros and cons but my overall impression is that I would not buy it. That's why; You cannot use the radio without a charged battery. It does not need to be fully charged, but once the battery is empty the radio will not turn on, even when plugged into an outlet. My radio has stopped charging the battery so I have a completely non-working unit. Pros: There are several other products on the market in this price range that are just as compact, waterproof, and offer Bluetooth (those were the three main components I wanted to look for). Bluetooth was very easy to use and connected to several different devices every time. The product is solid and has fairly good audio output up to 15CON volumes: Once you cranked the volume above 15, distortion became noticeable. Depending on whether it was a radio or a connected Bluetooth device, I could get 16 or 17 from distortion at times. The biggest downside is what I mentioned above regarding the battery. 11 months after purchase the battery stopped charging so I couldn't turn on the radio. It was still under warranty, so I called Pyle, who sent me a replacement battery (I had to pay shipping, which was about $12). When I plugged in a spare battery, my radio didn't even realize it was installed. So I contacted Pyle again and they sent me another battery (another $12). Same problem with the second battery. This time the technician assumed it was the motherboard and they will replace it for free as it is under warranty. I had to pay shipping to get my radio to them AND shipping to get it back to me (only $35). They replaced the system board and the radio worked great for a month when the same problem reappeared. The warranty has expired and I have asked Pyle to ship me a new radio (I do not pay for shipping) as it is still an unresolved issue since the original request. Pyle is much slower to respond now and I haven't found a solution yet. I currently have the product I purchased and I paid an additional $60 for shipping which took less than 1 year.
