Review on 💥 ASUS ROG Strix Z490-H Gaming Z490 LGA 1200 (Intel 10th Gen) ATX Gaming Motherboard: A Powerful Solution with 12+2 Power Stages, DDR4 4600, Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Aura Sync by James Yarbrough

Great stable Z490 board paired with 10700k and great style!

So far this board has worked fine with my 10700k. The first start was flawless. One thing everyone should change immediately in the BIOS is to disable MCE, or Multi-Core Enhancement, which is enabled by default on most if not all motherboards and can raise voltages and temperatures to unsafe levels. Bios is very clean and one of the best in its class. If you've seen what the Nexus says for gamers, Asus is the only board manufacturer to follow Intel's voltage recommendations when using all settings except mce in auto mode. This gives you peace of mind that your default settings aren't pushing things past what's safe. I had no problem overclocking this board to 5.0GHz across all cores. The board looks great and has some cool RGB elements. The only thing I would wish for would be more USB ports. But what you get when you sacrifice some I/O is vrms, which is the same as mid to high end Asus boards.
