I have a cat who loves shiny collars so much that she takes them off and runs around with them in her mouth (she's at home so I'm not worried about her not wearing a collar) . It caught the chain too easily with its claws and got stuck in its mouth, paws and neck. It caused her a lot of pain and I haven't let her wear it since I pulled her out. The shiny bracelet lost its rhinestones from day one. I gave up, went to a craft store and made it more durable with a magnetic clasp so it could come loose if it got stuck.
