There are several bad reviews on this product, attacking the amount of sodium in these crackers. Firstly I don't know what the usual diet or range of these parents is but according to my family they are quite bland, the last impression I had when I tried these crackers was that they were too salty. If you want salty go to the Ritz. Nutritional information states that 30 crackers provide 220mg of sodium. Well, unless you stack half a bag in front of your kid and spank them in front of the TV, introducing them to the life of an American couch potato, there's nothing wrong with that. (Also, each relevant health authority will state that, on average, a child should consume about 1 gram of sodium per day, which translates to 1,000 mg.) These crackers are small and should be taken into account. Watch your child carefully and make sure they are ready. for her. Our daughter started using it when she was 9 months old and has done great with it. She usually eats 2-3 crackers per feeding (but not around 30). They have a "simple" taste, I would describe them as buttery tasting. Thanks again to Earth's Best for a great organic, non-GMO product with no nonsense ingredients, well done and keep it up!
