What could be scarier than moving to New York for college? Moving to a college in New York with a transfer student scheduled to arrive on a day when the college does not have unloading arrangements near the dormitories, as is the case on freshman or return student check-in days. But fear not, Magna Cart is here. We loaded this thing with a microwave, a large plastic bag, and a giant gym bag, and I was able to wheel it up and down 6 blocks of bumpy sidewalks with ease. It took a bit of arm strength to keep it balanced, but then again we're talking about a 75-100 pound item with a fairly high center of gravity. (Also, I'm a middle-aged woman who doesn't typically do much with my hands other than pick up a house cat.) After unloading my bag, I was able to easily wheel the rest of the load a few steps into the dorm. After unpacking and realizing the hostel already had a microwave, we put the item back in the Magna cart. With just a microwave, it was very easy to drive a few blocks across campus to the welcome reception (where Magna Cart sat quietly in the corner, not even wanting a cookie) and then a few blocks down a steep hill. where we parked. Overall this car turned a very difficult day into something a lot less stressful. limits. I'm glad I did. I'm 5ft 4" and felt the handle was barely big enough to comfortably maneuver the Magna Cart. much higher.
