This is #2 of 2 arrived. The first was crushed on the way. I wanted to share this in case anyone else sees the same thing. How acceptable is excessive burr? OR is it a factory 2nd one that somehow sells itself as new? Excess material on all four sides is sufficient to cover the first row of diamond shaped supports in the reinforcement mesh to cover at least 10-15% of the flat square section of the top of the filter surface. In comparison, this extra material in a cheap black general-purpose filter doesn't interfere with the clearance that should be there for airflow. I wrote FRAM and asked her the same thing. Continue
