Let's Talk Resin

I had the opportunity to purchase this product as I am an aspiring resin artist. I thought it was time to finally leave a review after a few uses. Let's start with the positives: it is an excellent value product and color for the amount you pay. Starting at $20 a set, that's just over $1 a bottle. The colors are quite pronounced, only a little color in little resin - of course you need about 8-10 drops a little more, depending on how much resin you use. It wasn't in bad packaging either and had no problems with delivery! If you don't mind pastels, this can work really well. Now for the cons: the labels on the bottles seem to fall off easily, like there wasn't enough glue on the stickers. If you don't shake the bottle as instructed, your paint will turn milky and not mix properly with the resin. Beware of UV resin users - some colors, like yellow and blue, tend to fade when exposed to a UV lamp. I have learned that using it in small portions reduces this effect. This set is not for those who like beautiful primary colors. I had a problem with green. For me, green should be green and match the label. The green in this set was too light compared to the label. Now that all is said let me remind you that this is great value for money. You will be lucky with good packaging but I can see some have had issues with it. I really enjoyed using the colors on different projects and the effects you can get by mixing them together can be better than expected! Overall I give 4 stars.
