I am in love with the comfort of these shoes. I like the textured outsole. It's like a foot massage every time I leave. Also, they have a nice texture on the bottom, which makes them ideal for outdoor activities. I would give them 5 stars for convenience. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable. There is no break-in period with these shoes. The first time I wore them for several hours, ran errands and walked a little. I had no issues with fabric chafing and my feet never hurt. As for the fit, I usually wear a size 8. They fit well. I do have a bit of toe room though and don't mind, but if you're between sizes I would suggest going on the smaller end rather than the larger. I wouldn't advise ordering a size down if you're exactly the same size, only if you're in between. They are more like slippers and visually they are fine. I would only downgrade her 1/2 star for that, but that's not an option. However, this is the reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5. The looks don't really bother me because I still go for comfort. However, the appearance of the fabric is a bit different from what I expected. I would order the Acorn brand again. Quality and comfort correspond to the price.
