Believe it or not, I've used a cheap zippered sandwich bag before. This case looks great and way better than a 0.10 cent plastic bag :) The only problem I personally have is that my passport fits snugly and it's difficult to get it out. Why lose weight you ask? Because it turns out some customs officials require this upon re-entering the US and I can't refuse them that. Also in the Canadian electronic immigration system, the scanner doesn't like the US passport when it's in this case. Only after I removed the cover did he take my passport. I give this case a 4 star rating for the reasons that I find it difficult to remove the US passport from the case each time I need to do so.
