was damaged WOW! These things are the real deal! I've read reviews of other rubber cased fan mounts and the only complaint was that they tear easily when pryed open with pliers to fit through the fan holes. I haven't ripped any of mine with that particular brand yet (knock on wood). It's still tricky to thread these fan mounts through the fan screw holes (you'll definitely need pliers and be careful not to damage the fan blades). !), but once you've pierced them, the brackets slide easily through the screw holes in the computer case (you can just pry them out with your fingers). Other reviews recommend using petroleum jelly to lubricate and make these fasteners easier to pass through the holes. The quality of the rubber is so durable that I was able to just tighten them with pliers without oiling them. I don't know if the rubber will weaken in strength over time (from repeated pulling with pliers, especially if you're constantly rearranging or swapping out your case fans. I don't swap or move my case fans, so I'm not worried about that.) I'm skeptical at first. Was referring to buying this particular rubber fan mount because of the price you pay for 100pcs (i.e. it's a good deal! At least at the time I bought it. Sellers please beware!) I've gotten so far 24 fan mounts used in two PC builds, so they'll definitely last a while (probably enough for the next three or four future builds!). Grab them, you won't regret it!
