My wife's bike had a different bell that didn't really stand up and broke after two years (and not really needing to use it too much). It was very compact, but the design seemed to make it vulnerable to damage. I was going to re-order it but found reviews where other people had similar problems with it not lasting very long. I then found this bell and ordered it based on amazon reviews. Very happy with it and ordered a second bell for my bike. The build seems very solid and the bell rings loud enough for people to hear. A good bicycle bell for a reasonable price.
