has been damaged because these are absolutely fantastic filament storage boxes for 3D printers. The liner helps keep things airtight, which is important for floss storage and improves the performance of desiccant bags. The two latches are strong and still haven't come loose with regular use, and the size is absolutely perfect for holding spools of filament. The width is just right for the filament spools and they are long enough for me to store a row of spools stacked on edge. There's extra space above the drums, which comes in handy when I need to quickly hide a sample, leftovers, or whatever. They are transparent so I can see which thread is in the box without having to open each one. I first bought these from Walmart last fall and wanted to buy more to fit more thread and other craft supplies. I was very upset to see that I couldn't find them anywhere else but Revain and at a much (much, much) higher price than I bought them in the store. However, they are so awesome that it was worth it. I subtracted a few stars for the strength rating as these are transparent containers which are generally more prone to breakage and splintering than similar containers made from opaque materials. I have 15 year old opaque storage jars that have been kicked and scratched as a result, but even fairly new clear storage jars rarely last long. They are prone to failure (breaking, splintering) when used in non-air conditioned environments, when they are oversized, loaded with many heavy objects, or the weight of the contents is unevenly distributed. Smaller clear containers like this 20 liter spacer box I bought tend to last longer as I use them internally and only to store spools of filament. I was lucky that all containers arrived intact. I was concerned because of other reviews but I guess it just depends on luck with shipping. plus a photo of my cluttered craft shelf where I started putting things in these boxes.]
