Hey Chemist! I have spent a lot of money on your products and have always been satisfied. What I received in the mail was far from auto soap. It was sticky and slimy and smelled like a shrimp boat bathroom door. This "thing" they sent me cost me $30 and I wouldn't use it to make dirt let alone put it on my car! Very very disappointed and probably won't buy anything else. Get in your quality control and make some positive changes!

Very strong soap. The instructions say 1 ounce per 5 gallons. That's right. I've also used it in a foam gun; it was interesting. It really is too strong to use in every wash; I think this will remove the wax. Edit: This is a really strong soap. This can cause burns or skin irritation. I tried using less product but it didn't work so I went back to full strength. I can't take a star off because it's too strong, but I don't recommend it for everyday use. Get a balanced Ph instead. This product is not what it seems. They are advertised as soaps that remove dirt without much effort. However, this is not the case. My biggest complaint is that this soap left a stain on my Silverado's white plastic door bumper. I've tried with each to get the stain. Now only the painting remains. Also, avoid getting this soap on your hands. I've used Dawn and other dishwashing detergents to try and get rid of the residue. My hands are still sticky after 4 hours. Product worked as expected, cleans very well and leaves a nice shine on the surface. My problem is that 1 gallon plastic bottles are so cheap they always burst or leak when shipped. Although the entire bottle is wrapped in plastic shrink wrap, this does little to prevent leakage from contamination. Best car wash soap I've used. I have tried several shampoos from other popular brands but this one works better. This soap is said to contain shine boosters and I really feel like it's working. Not a very good soap. I won't go into other soaps I've used that I like better, but I'll just tell you why I don't like this particular car shampoo. 1. Instructions state to use approximately 1 ounce of product per 5 gallons of water. Expect too little foam at this ratio. This is with tap water without using a water softener or with deionized water. I think I should have read a little more closely but it is not biodegradable, it has a biodegradable ingredient and it is not pH neutral either. I'm not sure how to balance the pH without damaging the wax or sealer so I'm not buying it. This is a heavy soap. I don't think you use it very often, I think it's just for a very dirty car. This is my second purchase and by far the best car wash soap I have used in the 30+ years of driving and washing my cars. It's a bit more expensive than what's available at the local store, but there's a reason for that. This soap lathers very well, does a great job of cleaning the car from accumulated dirt and grime, and even adds a noticeable shine, so I don't feel bad about not waxing the car afterwards.
