Review on Chemical Guys CWS_301 Citrus Concentrated by Robert Farrar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent cleanliness and luster, usually requiring no regrowth. Smells good too

This is my second purchase and by far the best car wash soap I have used in the 30+ years of driving and washing my cars. It's a bit more expensive than what's available at the local store, but there's a reason for that. This soap lathers very well, does a great job of cleaning the car from accumulated dirt and grime, and even adds a noticeable shine, so I don't feel bad about not waxing the car afterwards. I'm not the best at washing my car and it usually lasts a few months between washes. which means that the machine will accumulate garbage for several months. However, this soap cuts through easily and when paired with a decent microfiber glove, dirt and grime will be removed with little effort. The soap is also easy to rinse off. Simply use a microfiber cloth to wipe away any remaining water to avoid leaving water stains. Once a year I do a deep cleaning with a clay stick and apply sealer (Chemical Guys Jet Seal works great) and with the occasional wash with this soap, my car will be back in the nearest showroom in minutes. As a nice bonus, the soap smells like lemon freshness. It's not like you'll smell your car after it, but it's a nice pleasant smell while you're actively washing. and lets you forget you're dipping your hand in a bucket of chemicals that magically remove dirt without stripping the paint. The soap separates while lying on the shelf. It's okay, just a few quick shakes to mix things up and you're back in business.
