I ordered this product with reservations but I did not use it for a trailer but as a hinge for a large gate. I've read that other buyers have had parts missing, parts that didn't fit, or parts that were poorly or improperly made. Now that I have it in my hands, I can understand the frustration of others. While fine for my application, I would never use these parts on a trailer or equipment designed for road use. My order was poorly packed and at first glance everything looked fine. Once I started collecting parts, all the problems would surface by themselves. Although the parts were individually wrapped in plastic bags, it was obvious that this was for inventory and not to keep the parts clean. The spindles were about 1/4 inch short and the castle nut didn't screw in tight enough to get the cotter pin in. The hole for the cotter pin was drilled off center and even if the shaft was the correct length it would be difficult to line up the cotter pin. I noticed that the wheel studs aren't perfectly straight, suggesting the stud holes were drilled at a slight angle rather than 90 degrees to the flange. Finally, the spindle caps were the wrong size and unsuitable for these spindles. But like I said, my application is different and the parts are sufficient.
