May form a kind of "glue" between two things held together by something else (screws or permanent clips), but is not an adhesive. Works more similar to thermal paste, remains somewhat tacky unless fully exposed to air. although it no longer sticks in air either. I bought to reattach the wires to a part of the board that couldn't be reached with a soldering iron, it didn't work. But it should work fine for attaching additional heatsinks to other parts of the board.
