Review on Viva Doria H2O2 Hydrogen Peroxide 12% Food Grade Solution - 16 Fl Oz, 2 Pack (32 Fluid Ounce Total) by Gary Bush

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very strong, dilute for most applications

This product works well and is reasonably priced. I bought this because the peroxide I used to order was out of stock, probably due to people stocking things due to the Covid pandemic. I was happy to find peroxide available. Ordered for the first time, delivered very quickly. The current order states that it will arrive in about a month from the order date. It says "in stock" so I figured they might ship it faster. Ah, that's it. I was just saying that maybe the same slow delivery will happen to others. I'm a patient person and I love free shipping so I can't complain. One thing I would say is to dilute this peroxide as it is too strong at 12%. But that's good because I can keep smaller containers and just add water to the peroxide I'm going to use. 3% peroxide is generally safe for most things, so I would make 3 parts water to 1 part peroxide. Additionally, food grade peroxide has no taste, unlike the unpleasant chemical aftertaste of typical store-bought amber bottled peroxide. This is a great benefit for those who use it for oral hygiene. In this case, however, pay attention to the warning about dilution up to 3%, as I can only imagine the burning in the mouth or the burning of sensitive teeth that undiluted can cause. I really don't want to go there. I suppose for cleaning a stronger force is fine if wearing proper gloves, but don't quote me on that. The "more is better" philosophy is not always true. Apparently; Always read the instructions for each product. I hope I don't look like someone's mother. Maybe I'm going too deep into the obvious details because of my OCD. But I hope someone, at least one person, can find this review useful. The products are purposeful and categorical by nature. But efficiency is also important in our consumer society, so who has time to read anything other than what is actually needed? Well, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
