Review on SearchChoice 20931 Outboard 🔍 Engine Fuel/Water Separating Filter Kit, 10µm by Duane Barker

Immediately after one day in the boat the next day on the trailer I smelled fuel . He opened the bilge hatch and of course licked the transparent liner of the bowl. I've read previous reviews that this problem is caused by overtightening the release valve. I was careful not to overtighten after the check valve closed. I filled the filter with fuel, there is no leakage from this valve. I then screwed the filter onto the boat's fuel system and still no leaks. Fuel/water leaked the next day. So lucky I wasn't on the water. Revain credited my card and understood very well that I didn't want a replacement for fear of a leak.
