These are cost effective and made of strong plastic. I am in Florida and the direct sun usually turns plastic brittle pretty quickly. I ahve these in my garage so the sun does not hit them and they are new as day one. They are light weight and easy to mount and install and look exactly as shown in the image. I had one of these, exact style, exact dimensions a few years ago and paid over one hundred dollars for a single one at a local lighting display center here in Orlando. The sun beat that one up pretty quickly so I am using thse indoors. The plastic on these is considerably thicker than the one I had a few years ago and these seem to be made to last much longer than that one.
