Editing my previous review: After sharing his experience with the seller, the seller generously offered to send a replacement lighting kit. I quickly received replacement headlights and installed the included wiring harness. At the moment the wire is holding up well. Thanks to the seller for the reply and for sending a replacement. The lights themselves are very good and bright enough, the wiring is the only part I had trouble with. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the faulty wiring that was originally sent to me. Original post: After installing this lighting system on my boat trailer, it worked great for several months. Recently hitching up a trailer for towing I noticed that none of the lights work. Assuming the ground wire must have come loose, I checked it again and found it connected well to the trailer. Upon further investigation, I found that all four wires leading to the taillights were corroded and their connections had practically come loose. I found it quite strange but decided to unplug and reconnect. As I tried this I found that the wire kept dissolving into the rubber/plastic casing. Back at 12" and still finding the rusted/dissolved wire, I gave up and decided I needed to buy another wire harness. The headlights themselves may be fine, but the wire to connect them must be the cheapest overseas manufactured cables on the planet DO NOT purchase this product if you require the cables provided.
